SAVOUR GANDIA'S GASTRONOMY

Fideuà de Gandia:

This traditional, exquisite dish was created by sailors in the Grao de Gandia quarter. It has become a signature dish of the entire region, delighting locals and visitors alike. Prepared with a delicious fish broth, it contains noodles, seafood and fish.

Such is the local love for this dish that every year the “International Fideuà de Gandia and Gastronomy Contest” is held, in which top chefs in the area go all out to cook up the finest fideuà they can.

A rice-loving land:

Valencian paella has crossed borders, constituting one of Spanish cuisine's most iconic dishes. At our hotel our chefs also love to cook rice dishes, and we offer paella at our buffets. Discover and savour genuine Valencian paella at the Hotel Cibeles Playa.

Black rice is another dish that we really love and that, thanks to Gandia's rich fishing tradition, we serve up with the very best cuttlefish and fish broth. This is a lesser known but equally tasty dish that you will find at our buffets.
